Tada!!! Here's the news

Sorry it has taken so long to do a new post.... I need to be better about this:) I have three items of information:
1. I cut my hair short again!!! I'll take some pictures tonight and put them up. My hair is now between my chin and my shoulders. All is well because Adam likes it:) I love it as well, which is the most important!
2. Here is the link to see our wedding pictures--

"I posted your pictures online. You can share the link and password
with your friends and family. They can order pictures directly from
the website if they would like. When you are ready to order your pictures just send me an email with the number and sizes you would like. Hope you like them! I thought everything turned out beautifully!"

View pictures at: http://www.jennifereliason.instaproofs.com (if the link doesn't work just copy and paste it.)
password: densley
********* You can order them from Jen (who I love but the prices are a little steep) or you can wait for a week until I get the cd and I can print whatever you like at Costco for dirt cheap.
3. I finished my field experience at Foothill Elementary School in Orem last week! I was in Mrs. Harper's 6th grade class and I loved it!!! Happy news: The vice principal came in and observed me during one of my lessons and she thought it was fantastic! She stopped me before I left to go home and said that she really wanted to see me working there. I asked her if they hired interns and she said, " Absolutely!" So if all goes well I'll be interning there next year! Anywho, married life is fabulous and even though we don't see each other until after 9 or 10 most nights, we enjoy every minute! Love you all and Happy Thanksgiving!

Estoy casada!!

I sure do love this man!
We're MARRIED!!!!
I loved my cake!!
I like this picture because it shows my flowers!

Parker is seriously the cutest kid ever!
So I've been married almost a week.... that is crazy! I kept telling Adam after we left the temple that "we're not really married.... they just tell us that:)" He laughed because he felt the same way too. The wedding day was pretty close to perfect, minus some wind and a "few" box elder beetles. ;) I was so happy to have my family there and even though I didn't get to spend as much time as I would have liked with each of you, thank you so much for coming! Adam and I are fabulous and school hasn't been that hard to catch up on. San Diego was a great Honeymoon and I'll put up some pictures as soon as I get them downloaded! I think the most emotional part of the day was sitting in the sealing room while the sealer shared a few thoughts. I had been thinking about my mom for awhile and did feel a void with her not being there, but then I had the sweetest experience! I just a felt my mom nudge me, let me know that she and Briana were there and that they were so happy for us. It was such a special experience and one that I will never forget. Life is crazy but there are always those little reminders from those we love.

! Only one week left!

So we officially have less than a week to go before we get married! Sometimes I still can't believe it?! Our apartment is coming together nicely, the only downer is that we don't have enough space for everything. I was telling Amy that it will just help me to appreciate counter space and lots of cabinets when we actually buy something:) I love our living room because it is so spacious! I will try to take some pictures this weekend so that you all can see it. As soon as we are a little more settled and a little less stressed, we are planning on having people over to see it! My sister Brooke made me a wonderful present yesterday! She got a picture of my mom and a picture of Briana, put them in a large matted frame and placed the words of the hymn that reminds us of both of them. It was very sweet and I had to hold back the tears as usual. I plan on putting it in the living room somewhere so you will for sure see it. Lately I've been missing just being able to call and talk to my mom, but I do feel blessed to have my dad, sister, grandma's and aunts. I hope I don't bother anyone when I call rambling on about things for the wedding. Thank you for listening though... it makes me feel like I'm talking to my mom in a way. Anywho, we are having a pumpkin carving party on monday night if anyone wants to come and help. We'll be carving, painting and glittering the pumpkins for the tables at the reception. I'm so excited, but I should go to bed, so tata for now!

P.S. the picture of my mom is the one that Brooke used in my present.... I think it looks very nice!

Oh goodness!! Two weeks to go!

Can you all believe that I'm getting married in two weeks?!!! I'm so excited yet feel like it is still so far away:) I finally got the invitations out and hope that everyone has gotten theirs by today or tomorrow. The only things I have left to do are buying and carving the pumpkins for the center pieces, developing some of our engagement and bridal pictures, making a sign in book, getting some fall leaves together.... I think that's it, but I'm sure there are some other things that I have forgotten for the moment:)
On to other news: I love being an aunt to my little niece Makenna! She sure has a set of lungs when it comes to sleeping at night, but she is so cute when she's sleeping and when she's awake! It has also made me realize that I'm more ready to be an aunt than a mom while I'm still in school. I don't know how people finish their degrees and have kids... they are truly super moms! School is going well and I just got my field experience assignment. I'll be with my friend Melodie in a 6th grade class at Foothill Elementary in Orem. It's going to wonderful but stressful. We have a lot of lesson plans due in the next couple of weeks so I'm keeping very busy. Plus I'm tyring to get ahead so that I don't fall behind after I get married:) Wish me luck!

My first attempt at being a florist!!

Here are pictures of the bouquet that I did for my mission companion Courtney! She got married yesterday and the flowers were a hit!!! Maybe after I start teaching and have more time I will look into starting a small business.... let me know what you think:) I'm still very happy about my decision to put somebody else in charge of my flowers.... relieves stress!

P.S. the bouquet, throw bouquet and cake flowers only cost $50!
It was a little lopsided.... but I'll learn right?!

The Final Cut

#1
#2

#3

Here are the final selections from our engagement photos, before I make a decision on the ones to use. Please tell me which ones you like!

My DRESS!!!!!!!

I finally got a picture off of Allysse's website of my dress! So here it is for all those who haven't seen it yet! The pic isn't super big, but if I make it any bigger it doesn't really show it. There are two ribbons that tie in the front, but we had them removed and added a raspberry sash and a broche! We also added beading to the neckline:) I know that everyone really wants me to wear that hat..... but I simply just can't afford it...LOL
I'm taking my bridals this next monday. My engagement pictures are done but I haven't gotten the CD from Jen so I'll post the website and you all can go to it.
"You can view your pictures at www.je-photography.lifepics.com your password is: spain"
After you type in spain, then you have to fill in lasevillana.jamie@gmail.com as my email and then type in my first and last name. Let me know what some of your favorites are! Love you all!!!

My heart belongs in San Francisco!

We had the annual girls weekend a few weeks ago in San Francisco and I loved it! I have never seen my aunts get so silly?! It was a side that only comes out when the kids and husbands are gone for sure:) Brooke and I really did love our trip and now I can say that I've been to San Fran! I wasn't sure that I wanted to go when I woke up at 4:00 am to catch our plane, but the lack of sleep turned out to be very worth it! The 5 Star hotel that Kim found was perfect, even if the elevators made weird nature noises and smelled like sandal wood. :) The House of Nan-King was "interesting" and the food left you full for hours. Good News!! My knees survived walking around China Town and up Lombard Street! I was a little worried but walking sideways down the hills saved the day, even if I did look pretty funny. My favorite place to eat was the little Italian Cafe, Volare, that we discovered through free samples of Bruschetta. I got to eat the purple olives that I love so much and feel like I was in the Mediterranean again!!!

I kept commenting to Grandma and others that being in the middle of San Fran felt like being in Spain. It's funny how many large cities have the same smells, sounds and sights even if they are on different continents. Walking around everywhere reminded me of being in Sevilla and I loved every minute of it! Oh how I miss Sevilla, but I'm so happy to be in America!

I told Adam that we need to go to San Francisco one day so that we can walk around China town, go to the pier and take in the many cultures that live there..... oh and especially so that we can see the "BUSH MAN", otherwise our trip wouldn't be complete! I'm super excited for the next girls weekend and can hardly wait!

After we climbed Lombard Street

Waiting to board the boat for Sausalito Island
All of us before we left for the airport!

ummmmm... changes as usual

So some of my "vendors" have changed since I last posted. Here are the changes:
Photography: Jen, and it will be wonderful!
Flowers: A tie between Thanksgiving Point and The Flower Affair
that's all, but they were a good change that saved me money and we still got what we wanted!
Adam and I are in Evanston right now. We came up yesterday afternoon and stayed the night, making sure to see all of the hot spots in Evanston. After eating dinner, Adam and I went for a drive into the Uintahs. At the end of our trip, we ran into some fisherman up at Butterfly Lake. Good news, I caught my first FISH (illegally of course)!!!! We met two nice gentlemen, one from Scotland and the other from Utah, and they offered to let us real one in. They tried to get me to kiss the fish I caught, but I refused and they put it back in the water. Church was hot, since the AC wasn't working but Adam got to introduce me to practically everyone! Life is great and I've never been happier!

The plans so far...: )

Here are the things that I have planned so far, just in case you're wondering:
The date: Wednesday, October, 10, 2007
Time and Place: 11:15 AM Bountiful Temple
Reception: Thanksgiving Point Garden Room (Overlooking the Gardens)
Food: Don't worry there will be lots and it will be a dessert buffet
Flowers: Elizabeth, the wife of someone that Adam works with.
Photography: Heather George.... the pictures will be awesome!
Cake: yet to book Cakes by Dawna
Dress: Allysse's Bridal with a rasberry sash!!!! Ohh la la
Dancing at the reception: OF COURSE.... you all know me, so brush up on your moves:)
Invitations: Amber Ahlberg-when you need the best you book the best!
That's all I can think of for right now. We are having a fall themed reception with pumpkins, leaves and all! The things I'm looking for are someone to do my hair, someone who could do a short video picture montage and possibly some extra linens. I'm very excited and am so grateful that so many people have offered their help. I'm tyring to decide on how to do some of my center pieces right now, so if you would like to chat with me about any ideas please do! So far we haven't registered anywhere, but since some have asked we will be doing that shortly! Anywho, love you all and be ready for a bridal shower near the end of august, or whenever Brooke tells you to be there. Hugs and Kisses!

Lake Tahoe....wait...no one cares about that!

So it's official!!!!!!! Adam and I got engaged on saturday night, as most of you know already! Here are the pictures of my ring and can I just say that I LOVE IT and adam of course:) We are getting married on October 10, so mark your calenders. If anyone has wedding planning advice that would make my day because sometimes it seems overwhelming...blah. I will post the story soon but I must be going. Love you all and can't
wait until october! He proposed to me after dinner at Ruth's Diner up immigration canyon (he wants that to be our spot... ahhh) He had to stall quite a bit during the evening because the zoo (where he wanted to go before dinner) was closed by the time we got there, poor boy! Anywho, we ended up playing at liberty park and then bowling one game. He hardly ate any of his dinner and ended up putting his butter into his water instead of on his roll, it was very funny! After we finished eating he told me that he didn't think we should date anymore, my heart dropped out of confusion, but then added that he thought we should get married and pulled out the box. I didn't think I would cry, but i did and the tears didn't stop for a minute. So many emotions but I was so happy!

P.S. the middle stone is an aquamarine stone and I absolutely love it!!!

Guess what?!

School starts tomorrow and I'm trying to get excited about my math class. I keep telling myself that at least it is my only class this summer and then math and I are over!!!
I have officially started to move my stuff into Brooke's house and will start calling it my home next weekend:) Brooke doesn't get home until friday and I don't like sleeping at houses by myself, so I figured I would use my time at the apartment until the very end of my contract. I still have some things to take over, but the bulk of it is out of my apt. Adam came down to help me move stuff.... so did Kathy and my dad.
I had a little change up of duties last week at my job. We own a huge mansion in Provo that has a large mortgage and we haven't been able to sell it so far. Therefore, we now rent it our for family reunions and receptions. The first group comes tomorrow morning, so for about a week we have been slaving over at the "provo house" so that it would be ready this thursday!!! I think I am now expereinced in setting up every piece of furniture that IKEA owns, so if you need help just give me a call:) LOL I don't know if I'm going to apply for the other job I mentioned before. The hours are looking like they won't work out with my school schedule. If anyone hears of a job with flexible hours that would be great!
What else can I tell you....? Life is good and I know I have lots of blessings to be grateful for! I hope everyone else is doing wonderfully and that I get to see you soon!

Due to popular demand...

Not too much is happening that I can report on for right now, but stay tuned and I might have something good to tell you all in awhile: ) For now I'm getting ready to start my math class, the last one I'll have to take! Hooray! I'm super excited to get into the program, but I need to find out if I can change cohort time in order to facilitate another job. I move out of my apartment in a few weeks as well and then I become a nanny for Brooke! Since Andrew is now out for the summer she needs some extra help around the house and I am happy to oblige: ) .

Adam and I are doing wonderfully! I don't get to see him as often as I would like since he's working full time and going to school but we are making it work: distance and all. If all goes as planned he should be transferring to UVSC in the next couple of semesters!!! We're either going boating or to Hogle Zoo this saturday. We have soooo much fun together and Kim claims that I am "Jamie" when I'm around him, so I think I'll keep him! We're watching American Inventor right now and there was a lady who invented a potty training tool. Kids pee onto paper in the toilet and it turns into a picture...... oh my goodness! I don't know what to think?

Adam wanted to add: Adam loves Jamie very much... so much it hurts. Silly boy.... I don't want him to hurt:) Okay, now my mind is running a blank but I'll add more when I think of it. Love you all!

Work, Work, Work

I'm here sitting at work and wondering if I should switch jobs (much like Kimmie;)? I enjoy the comfortable atmosphere and the pay, but I sometimes I just don't feel as useful. Since Wade, our accountant, left I have been put in charge of the "books". Basically I get to play with numbers most of the day and make sure that everything pans out to zero. It's been a crash course test with many crashes and few "ah-hah" moments. I like learning about accountant type things because it will be helpful to my future, but I'm realizing more and more that I shouldn't ever pursue accounting:) When I think of accounting this phrase comes to mind, "It's not you, it's me." Ha Ha Ha (insert a laugh or smirk here if you'd like) My dear friend Mary works at Central Bank and she told me that position is opening in July. It would work out pretty well with my school schedule and it comes with benefits (not a bad thing at all). Decisions, decisions. I'm excited when I will finally graduate and be a teacher!

Anywho, life is pretty good in general. Lisa, my best friend since highschool, is coming to live in Utah for the entire summer next tuesday! Hooray! It's the only summer her husband has off at Case-Western, so they figured they would take advantage of being able to visit for an extended period of time. It'll be nice to have her around and not just be able to talk on the phone:)

Our trip to Boise: A Thriving Metropolis!!!

Well, for those who haven't heard... Grandma, Grandpa and I took a little trip to Boise to visit Amy and the fam! I've experienced many new and wonderful things during my short stay here:

1. The Cheesecake Factory- I'm perplexed as to why we don't have one in Utah? Also I found a new sweet to add to my favorites: Tres leches cheesecake!

2. Amy has taught me how to eat healthier which is really good since I tend to eat on the go too much:)
I stole this picture from Amy until we
3. There is a Sizzler where ever you go! upload the other ones!

4. Chicka Chicka Boom Boom has been made into a movie? I used to read that book all the time when I was little.

5. Dominos is not just a game any more.... you can also make train tracks with it (Paige)

6. Paige knows what a tickle monster is now;)

7. Maggie Moo's is soooooooooooooooooooo good!

8. There's a reason that there are no out's in tee ball.

I'm sure there's more, but I can't remember it all right now.

We've had lots of fun here and I'm so glad I came to visit! But now I need to plan a trip to Elko and Baltimore for sure!!! Oh how I love my family!

Mother's Day

Could a little boy be loved more than this?
Parkerino and Mom

Mom and Dad in front of the Madrid Temple

At Kim's Wedding

Me and Mom looking over Granada, Spain

Figure Skating at the Delta Center with the Densley girls.

It was mother's day yesterday and I just wanted to pay tribute to my mom a little bit : )

As the months have passed on, I remember little things here and there, but I thought I would write some of them down:

--She really did always put everyone else before herself. There were many times that she was so tired and probably just wanted to be alone, but she would take time if you needed her.

--She always asked about our lives and wanted "the details" of what was going on! At times it really bothered me, but now I realize how much I miss having someone to tell everything to. She also would tell us the things my dad forgot to tell us.... ha ha. Now we have to pin him down to get the information we need out of him!

--She made sure that people felt special! I know that's why she had such a profound effect on many of her students. We received a package of books that were bought in honor of her memory for Cherry Hill this past week. Brooke always remembers to tell people that Parker is so smart because his grandma has single handedly provided him with his own personal library. No doubt she would have done the same for Makena.

--She always remember birthdays, anniversaries and special occassions. Now my dad and I are trying to keep up with it:)

Well, there are so many things that I would like to write but my time doesn't permit it. This mother's day was difficult but great at the same time. Life keeps going on but my mother is always there and still listens when we need her. thanks to all of my family and friends who have been so wonderful and considerate! I don't know what we would do without you!

About a boy...

Janet has inspired me to create one of these since I love reading hers so much!

Now I've been told that there have been rumors going around about a certain boy named Adam... Well they are true, so I figured that I should tell you all a little bit about him.

His full name is Adam Fieber (pronounced Feeber, not Fiber). I met him through his brother, who I work with at the office. He served in the Harare Zimbabwe/Zambia mission and just got home at the beginning of this year. He's about 6'2" ( my dad likes that maybe future grandchildren will have a chance at some heighth:), has brown hair and blue eyes. We've been dating for a couple of months, but the commute is long. He lives in SLC while attending the LDS Business College. I, however, still live in Provo and have 1 summer term off. Some of the family has already met him and like him! I consider that a good sign!!! He's originally from Evanston, Wyoming, but I try not to hold it against him (LOL). A fun thing I that I learned about he and his family this past weekend..... they play NERTZ!!!!!!!!!! Twas a match made in heaven, right? Well, that's all for now. I can't think of much else to write, plus I'm at work. Sorry about the funny look on his face in the picture above... it's hard to get him to look normal when I take a picture.
