Lagoon Fun

We got dirt cheap Lagoon tickets through the Red Cross so we decided to invite some family and friends. It was so much fun and I don't think I've been there for about five years!! The weather was hot but the company was great! Our friends, Matt and Mary, were able to come and it was awesome to take a saturday and play! We had many adventures but those details are to come. I still have not overcome my fear of heights and closed my eyes on every drop, much to Adam's dismay. We first rode "Wicked" and boy were we in for a surprise. The dang thing goes straight up and then straight back down... but that was the least of our worries. Adam had put the keys in his pocket before the ride and then they were no where to be found when we got off the ride. Keep in mind that this was at 1:00 pm and the operators informed us that they couldn't do a check until 4!!!! We came back at four and they came back with everything but our keys! Frantically we begged them to search again but they told us they couldn't do it until 8... blast!!! Yet, after a little convincing they allowed Matt to ride it again and see if he could spot our keys on the ground. We had little faith but Matt pulled it off and found our keys right before the ride ended!!! Thanks Matt! Moral of the Story: Don't bring anything on the rides!
We were lucky to find our keys again and ended up staying until the park closed! As far as the dress code there... it needs some serious revamping (dido to Shelli's blog)! Skimpy shirts and short shorts should not be allowed.

Just after surviving the Jet Star!

Me and Adam on the train!!

Mary and Matt on the train.

Typical Adam and Jamie....need I say more?

The whole gange with Mary and Matt added!

Amigos de Espana!!!

The familia Garcia!!! They were in my first area of San Fernando. Their daughter, Laura, has been serving her mission on temple square so they came to pick her up and see the sights while they were in Utah. It was so good to see them and I'm grateful to my sister for letting me use her house:) One of the best parts was speaking in Spanish a ton!!!

Adam and I enjoying the leftover chocolate pie... yummmm

Back in the day...

So I remember when I used to be skinny after my mission... but that was back in the day. I was looking through some old pictures and I've decided that I want to get back to that skinny stage. Now I want to hold myself to that goal so I figured I would post the picture of what I used to look like and then post some progress pictures every couple of weeks. It is time for a change so if I don't post write me a comment and remind me not to be a slacker!

Another post for you:)

Some of my aunts and cousins pulling up next to us at a stop light during Girls Weekend. Can you tell we had fun?!

Mormon Drinking Games with Shasta!! Love it!

We went camping after the 24th of July with our good friends, the McEwens. Adam even bought me my own fishing pole so that he could teach me how to fish. I ended up catching about four fish and here's the proof! I have learned that A. I don't like to bait the hook, B. I don't like to watch Adam kill the fish, and C. Fish like to swallow hooks. Adam's parents came up and met us the next morning for some delicious breakfast! Thanks to Adam and Kevin we all got to fish and not bait our own hooks!!

Adam's grandparents were down from Powell so we went out to dinner at the Cheesecake Factory. I love the Cheesecake Factory!!! Paula, Wade and Wyatt were able to come as well. He sure is getting to be a chunk and very, very cute!
